bolerobolero

(2020)

"This is a heroic work, a spectacle for our time, where twenty-one excellent dancers risk much to bring us a sign of hope for the resilience of dance, and for the vitality and spunk our nation so needs to survive. In other words, damn, that was good, both sophisticated and feral, right up my alley.  I couldn’t help but think of RBG, her spunk and vitality, her integrity and grit. You made my day, my week, my year." -audience member

Set to the iconic work by Ravel, this contemporary interpretation features a cast of 20 dancers from diverse backgrounds coming together in response to a collective need to dance and create together as we navigate upheavals in our social and political landscape
